I was with my grandad and I was telling him about how I really wanted a CRT television to watch old movies/videos and play old games. He then told me that I could ask the people in my local tech shop if they had any that customers had traded in for newer ones. (my grandad knew the owner). I thought that was a great idea, so a few days later, we went in and I asked one of the workers. He said that he would have to ask the owner, and the owner said no, but he did have this 32 inch Philips CRT with a stand in his own house that he hasn't used in ages and was going to bring it to the landfill. I told him I would love to have it and I was absolutely thrilled as I was not expecting to get a huge tv! The thing is, my parents would have to approve of it, so I called them and they were not happy with the idea. A few weeks of convincing later, I went back to the shop and told him that my parents were fine with it and I told him my address, and 2 weeks later, him and my grandad arrived at my house and I looked into his car and it was HUGE. I was ecstatic! The CRT was so much bigger and better than I had ever imagined and I was so excited to get it up into my bedroom and use it! It took 2 people to carry it up to my bedroom and after that, they carried the stand up. We put the CRT on the stand and it looked amazing!
It is a Philips 32PW9536 (32 inch). It has 3 SCART inputs, 1 composite input and 1 S-Video input. (The rest of the specs are on the picture in the middle.)
